Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her whānau on Monday 14 September 2026, aged 71 years. Treasured Mum of Shane and Jamie, Tama and Mere, Kahu, Mihia and Damian, and Bronson. Cherished Nana of all her adored grandchildren. A friend to many.

A service to celebrate Bernie's life will be held at Lychway Funeral Directors Chapel, 5 Roy Street, Palmerston North, on Thursday 17 September 2026 at 11.00am, followed by her burial at Kelvin Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations to Arohanui Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
