HEREMIA, Wipahuru (Popeye). Passed away at home on 31st August 2026. Beloved husband, soulmate, and best friend to Joyce, loved Dad to John and Vanessa, Robert and Nicola, Ngarie and David, Leeann and Carl, and special uncle dad to Jimmy and Darleen. Loved koro to his many mokopuna, and uncle to his nieces and nephews. Popeye is resting at Rakautatahi Marae, Snee Rd, Takapau, where his service will be held on Wednesday 2nd September at 11am, followed by burial at Kaikanohi Urupa.
