BUTCHER, Maurice Allan, (Butchie). Passed away peacefully on the 31st of August 2026 surrounded by love, after 76 years well lived. Deeply loved husband and best mate to Lorraine, and a proud Grandad and Great- Grandad. He will be remembered by Andy, Jemma, Jackson, Ruawharo-Paiaka and their families, and by the many friends he made over a lifetime.

A private cremation has been held.

A celebration of Butchie's life will be held at 1.30pm, Thursday the 3rd of September at Thirsty Whale 62 West Quay, Ahuriri, Napier.
