SMITH, John Stewart. Passed suddenly on the evening of Friday 12 June 2026 at home. Aged 77. Cherished husband of Cherie. Loved Dad of Craig and Jet, Gary, Mark, Mel, Allan and Sarah, and Tarrah. Loved Poppa to all of his moko's. Loved by many. John will be laying at home until Wednesday 17 June.

A service to celebrate John's life will be held at the Hawke's Bay Crematorium, 202 Orchard Road, Hastings, on Wednesday 17 June 2026 at 11am. A kai at John and Cherie's home will follow. All are welcome.
