BROUGHTON, John Renata, Emeritus Professor, B773376 Army, CNZM, JP (Retd), ED BSc, BDS PhD, PGDipComDent, Honorary Doctor of Science. Unexpectedly in Dunedin on September 15, 2026; in his 80th year. Loving son of the late Leonard William and Margaret, much loved brother and brother-in-law of Jane and Guy (California), Philip and Rachel, Anne and Bryan (Taihape), Margot and Stewart (Hastings), loved by our mokopuna. " Mate atu he tete kura, ara mai he tete kura " John will be welcomed on to Puketeraki Marae, Karitane at 10am on Saturday September 19.

A Service for John will be held in St Paul's Cathedral, The Octagon, at 3pm on Sunday September 20. John will then be home at Kohupatiki Marae on Thursday September 24, at 10am. Messages can be left on John's page at www.hopeandsons.co. nz
