COWIE, Gwen (nee Pocock). Our wee Gwennie passed away peacefully after a brief illness with immediate family at her side on Thursday 27th August 2026 at 1.30am at HB Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital, aged 91 years. Finally at rest, and breathing easy at last, in Bruce's arms. Matriarch of the Pocock tribe and Clan Cowie, a stronger, more resilient, and loving woman we have not known. Mother to Adrian, Andrea, and Julian. Survived by remaining sisters Ann and Joy, and brother Clarri. Loving Grandmother to Fredrik, Andre, and Eva. Loved and adored by her wider family, and many more, for her sense of style and love of colour, she was the rainbow in our lives...

A memorial service will be held at a later date, post Mum's private cremation.
