On July 7, 2026, peacefully in Christchurch, surrounded by her family, aged 89 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Neville. Much loved and cherished mother and mother-in-law of Deb, Mark, Sandra and Miguel, Nicki and Jacques, Kerri and Russell. Adored and cherished grandmother of Leticia, Mark and Gemma, Jazmine and Seth, Olivia and Mitch, Michael and Sharni, Georgia and John, Sam and Tanya, Olivia and Stephen, Antoinette and Pat, Lucia, and Lucas, great-grandmother/Nana to Hector, Sofia, Jet, and Arthur. Valerie will be sadly missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
