On September 28, 2026 at Timaru Hospital, loved daughter of the late Alice and Thomas O'Grady. Shirley was a loved and respected sister and sister-in-law of the late Mary O'Grady; Natalie and the late Harvey Moore; Jenny and the late Jim Simmonds; Aunty of Nicola and Andy Cameron; Greg and York Moore; Michele and Roland Bell, Great and Great-Great Aunty of their respective families.

A private cremation has been held.
