Passed away at Rosebank Lifecare Ashburton, on Friday, October 2, 2026, aged 93. Dearly loved wife and soulmate of the late Arthur. Much-loved and respected mother and mother-in-law of John and Anneke, Elizabeth, Paul and Pam, Mark and Gayna. Loved and special Nana of Ella, Georgia and Richard. Adored Great-Nana of Isabella and Lillian. Shirley enjoyed a wide circle of friends and extended family.

A service to celebrate Shirley's life will be held at the St Stephen Anglican Church, 60 Park Street, Ashburton, on Friday, October 9, commencing at 1.00pm, followed by interment at the Ashburton New Lawn Cemetery.
