Passed away in Wanaka, on October 1, 2026, aged 88. Loved and loving, sweetheart of Jeanette Forbes, husband of the late Penelope, beloved father to Christopher, and Ashton, grandfather to Lucas and Joshua, brother to Dennis, beloved uncle to many. Sailor, aviator, traveler, adventurous in nature, generous in spirit, he will live long in the memory of those who knew him. Messages may be addressed to the family of the late Richard Owen, c/- PO Box 26051, North Avon, Christchurch 8148.

A service will be held at St Michaels and All Angels, Oxford Terrace, Christchurch on October 9 at 10.30am.
