(U1928267, Cpl, RAF). On September 30, 2026, aged 88 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Margaret. Much loved father and father-in-law of Samuel and Holly, and Christina. Adored poppa of Leo and Adam. A much loved brother, uncle, and brother-in-law.

Now at peace with his Lord Jesus.

Special thanks to our doctor and all the wonderful staff at Christchurch Hospital who helped care for Rhys. Messages may be addressed to the family of the late Rhys Evans, c/- Hope Funerals Christchurch, 27 Amyes Road, Hornby, Christchurch 8042. The Funeral Service for Rhys will be held at Hope Church, 27 Amyes Road, Hornby, on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 1.30pm, followed by a private burial.
