Peter KITCHIN

Died peacefully on Monday, September 28, 2026, aged 80, in the presence of his beloved wife Janne Land. Much loved father of Abbie, Sido and Matthew Kitchin. Foster dad to Jack and Taka Rikona. Stepfather to John Land. Father-in-law of Conrad Armstrong, Claire Sutherland and Fay Land. Grandpa of Niko and Rosa Varga-Miller, Cleo and Darcy Armstrong, and Darby and Louisa Kitchin. Farfar to Christian, Saacha, Hanne, Daniel, David and Matthew Land. Great-grandpa to Elio and Zephyr Kitchin. Cherished brother of Jenny Gaskin, Phillipa Kitchin and the late Michael Kitchin. A private cremation will be held followed by a memorial service, where all are welcome to celebrate Pete's life at Lychgate Funerals, 306 Willis Street, Te Aro, Wellington, on Friday, October 9 at 1.00pm.
