Passed away peacefully surrounded in love, at home, on August 8, 2026, in her 90th year. Best friend and wife for 66 years of Sam, loved and adored Mum and mother-in-law of Teeny and Robert, Ray, Deb, and Joe and Diane, cherished Nana of Jason and Amber, Nikcola and Eddie, Bre, Mitch and Janae, Bernadette and Cole, Sarah and Robert, Craig, Tanya, Sonya, and Chris, adored Nana Mary of her great-grandchildren Lochy, Aliyah, Asher, Benji, Fletch, Charlee, Milo, Sophia, Jack, George, Eddie, and Vinny, cherished sister, cousin, aunty, and friend to many. Mary will be home for anyone wanting to visit between Thursday and Sunday.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hokitika Volunteer Fire Fighters would be appreciated, these may be left at the service. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Mary in St Patrick's Catholic Church, Ross, on Tuesday, August 18, at 1.00pm. Following the Mass, Mary will be laid to rest in the Ross Cemetery.
