Warren DIEDRICHS

Passed away peacefully on September 6, 2026, in his 85th year. Eldest son of the late Henry and Kathleen Diedrichs, cherished brother and brother-in-law of Russell and Trina, Bill and Lyndel, and Joy and Pierre, much-loved uncle to Libby, Lauren, Candice, Lane, Chantal, Alex, and Julien, and good friend of Ben. Warren's great love was his farm, The Station, where he spent much of his life with his faithful dog Shilo by his side. The farm was his home, his passion and a place he truly loved. A very special thank you to the wonderful staff at Allen Bryant Care Home for the exceptional care, kindness and compassion they showed him. Our sincere thanks also to the team at Grey Hospital for their care of Warren. Warren will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends. Passed away peacefully on August 27, 2026, in his 101 year. Loved husband of the late Eunice, cherished father and father-in-law of Christine Stewart, David and June, Jeanette and Graeme Hall, and the late Russell, beloved grandad and great-grandad of many. He will be missed by his brother Malcolm and nephew Charles. The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Allen Bryant for their love and care of Jack. Passed away peacefully surrounded in love, at home, on August 8, 2026, in her 90th year. Best friend and wife for 66 years of Sam, loved and adored Mum and mother-in-law of Teeny and Robert, Ray, Deb, and Joe and Diane, cherished Nana of Jason and Amber, Nikcola and Eddie, Bre, Mitch and Janae, Bernadette and Cole, Sarah and Robert, Craig, Tanya, Sonya, and Chris, adored Nana Mary of her great-grandchildren Lochy, Aliyah, Asher, Benji, Fletch, Charlee, Milo, Sophia, Jack, George, Eddie, and Vinny, cherished sister, cousin, aunty, and friend to many. Mary will be home for anyone wanting to visit between Thursday and Sunday. Passed away peacefully on August 2, 2026, after a short illness, surrounded by the love of his family, aged 86 years. Dearly loved husband of Niki, cherished father and father-in-law of Noula and Wayne, and Eleni and Matt, treasured Papou of Ruby, Holly, Mya, and Toby, loved son of the late Leonidas and Lambrini Kazakos, a much-loved uncle, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. The family sincerely thanks the wonderful staff at Allen Bryant Care Home for the exceptional care, kindness, and compassion shown to George during his final days. Very sadly passed away on June 24, 2026. Aged 76 years. Really loved partner of Rita. A cherished father and father-in-law to Brent and Casey, Khane and Laura. A wonderful Poppa to Luca, Charli and Olive, and a very close friend of Richie and Jiab. A special brother to Doug and Gail, Colin and Cheryl and the late Ngarie. Sadly missed by all his nieces and nephews, Paul and Leah, Andrew and Debbie, Grant and Stephanie, Creek and Sian, Gemma and Ian, Kylie and Kosta. A treasured friend and kind person to many. May you be at peace. A celebration of Allen's life will be held at All Saints Anglican Church, 57 Bealey St, Hokitika, on Friday, July 3, 2026, commencing at 1.00pm.
