After a short illness, Kay sadly passed away on September 25, 2026. Loved and cherished wife of David. Loved and respected mother and mother-in-law to Timothy, Sharon and Ian, and a treasured grandmother and great-grandmother. Kay's family thank the amazing staff at Oxford Hospital and Christchurch Public Hospital for their care and support.

A service to celebrate Kay's life will be held at the Oxford Anglican Church, on Friday, October 2, at 1.00pm. For those unable to attend, a livestream will be available at www.gulliver-tyler.co.nz/obituaries.
