After a short illness, Kay sadly passed away on September 25, 2026. Loved and cherished wife of David. Loved and respected mother and mother-in-law to Timothy, Sharon and Ian, and a treasured grandmother and great-grandmother. Kay's family thank the amazing staff at Oxford Hospital and Christchurch Public Hospital for their care and support. A service to celebrate Kay's life will be held at the Oxford Anglican Church, on Friday, October 2, at 1.00pm. Loved wife of Simon, mother of Tui, daughter of Chris and Margaret, sister and sister-in-law of Andrew and Mary, Stuart and Lisa, daughter-in-law of Bev and Wayne. Loved aunty to all her nieces and nephews and dear friend to so many. Treasured niece and cousin. Thanks to Kathryn's special friend Nicole for all her support through the journey.
