In the early hours of Friday, July 10, 2026, Janet passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Her strength, courage and unwavering love, even in her final moments, will forever be an inspiration to all who knew her. Beloved wife of Geoff. Much loved mother of Trina, Karl, Gareth, Jordan, and Niki. Good Nana of Courtney, Sophie, Dustin, Samson, Paige, Jude, and Shania, and treasured Great-Nana of Freya.

A celebration of Janet's life will be held at Betts Funeral Services, 33 North Street, Timaru on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 11.00am, followed by a private cremation. If you would like to send your condolences to the family, these can be sent to 2 Craighead Street, Timaru.
