On Tuesday, July 28, 2026, peacefully at Bethesda Rest Home, aged 75 years. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Sarah and Damien, and Rebecca and Paul. Loved grandmother of Cameron, Dominic and Jax. Much loved sister of Sue and Doug.

Now at peace and reunited with her beloved Mum and Dad, and brothers Brian and Ken. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Jane Downes, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. Special thanks to the staff at Bethesda Rest Home for their wonderful care of Jane.

The service to celebrate Jane's life will be held at Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, tomorrow (Sunday), August 2, at 2.00pm, followed by a private cremation.
