Ian McDOUGALL

On September 30, 2026, surrounded by family, Ian passed away peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer, aged 81 years. A wonderful husband to Vickie, treasured father and father-in-law of Bruce and Moon, Linda and Paul, and Nicola, and cherished Pop of Lauren and Ollie, Cameron and Kristina, Henry and Anna, Max, and Cohan and Rion. Ian will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all his family. The family sincerely thank the staff of Christchurch Hospital for their professionalism, kindness and compassionate care. In accordance with Ian's wishes, a private cremation will be held. Family and friends are warmly invited to join the family for a celebratory drink in Ian's honour at the Rangiora RSA, on Wednesday, October 7, at 2.00pm to share memories and raise a glass to a life well lived.
