On July 8, 2026, peacefully at Ashwood Park Rest Home, Blenheim, aged 102 years. Dearly loved wife of 70 years to the late Peter, and a loved mother and mother-in-law of Gwenda and Don; Chris and the late Murray; Denise; and Peter and Patrice. A loved grandma to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a loved aunty.

A celebration of Gwen's life will be held at the Springlands Chapel, Cloudy Bay Funeral Services, 15 Boyce Street, Springlands, Blenheim, on Wednesday, July 15 at 2.00pm, followed by a private cremation. This service will be livestreamed and can be viewed on the Cloudy Bay Funeral Services website.
