On Thursday, September 24, 2026 peacefully at Christchurch Hospital with family by his side, aged 95 years old. Beloved and cherished husband of Colleen. Loved stepdad to Kerry, Jo, Leigh, and Berna. Loved grandad to Tim, Jasmine, Holly, Michael, Glenn, Alice, Joseph, Harry and Emily, and great-grandad of Isabella, Adelyn, Isabella, Mania and Atlas. Will be sadly missed.

A celebration of Gordon's life will be held at the Canterbury Memorial Gardens Chapel, 447 Linwood Ave, Christchurch, on Thursday, October 8 at 2.00pm.
