On July 24, 2026, peacefully at home surrounded by her family, aged 86 years. Dearly loved wife of Bruce, and deeply loved Mum and mother-in-law of David and Maya, Katherine and Mike, Anna and Sam, and Philip and Jackie. Much loved Grandma of Luke and Sarah, Thomas and Lauren, Harriet and Zoe, and Lucy, George, Pippa and Anna. Adored Nonna of Elliana and Leah. Dearly loved daughter of the late John (Jack) and Margaret (Pearl). Loved sister and sister-in-law of Patricia and the late Jim, John and Frances, Michael (dec) and Barbara, and Damien and Michael. Loved sister-in-law of Brian and Margaret, and Alan and Erin. Loved Aunt of all her nieces and nephews.

Rest in peace.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Nurse Maude Canterbury (www.nursemaude.org.nz) whose carers helped make it possible for Mum to remain living happily in her home with Dad for the last few years. Requiem Mass for Anne will be celebrated at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church, 106 Main South Road, Sockburn, Christchurch, at 12noon on Thursday, July 30, 2026, followed by interment at Avonhead Memorial Cemetery, Hawthornden Rd, Avonhead, Christchurch.
