Dearly loved husband and best friend of Ruth. Much loved father of Simon and Kerri, Suzanne and Wayne (McInnes), and Mathew. Proud grandad of Daniel, Aaron, Samantha and Erica. Passed away peacefully in Christchurch on July 2, 2026, aged 81 years. As Doug wished, a private family gathering has been held.

A good man who will be greatly missed.
