David TUBMAN

It is with great sadness that we advise of the passing of David Ian Tubman (Dave, Dad, Pop and Tubby), after a long and courageous battle with illness, at Christchurch Hospital on Tuesday, July 7, 2026. Beloved husband of Adrienne (Ady), and the late Jan. Much-loved Dad to Tracey and Wayne, and treasured Pop to Taj. Loved and respected stepdad to Mark and Lea-Ann, Kyle and Natasha, Brent and Jacqui, and Michael and Denise Dow, and cherished Pop to their 18 children and 3 1/2 grandchildren. Brother to the late Adriane and Trevor, brother-in-law of David and Adrienne Bryce, Vincent, Anne, Pam and Barry, Kath and the late Kevin. Loved Uncle Dave to Gaeline, Greg, Jill, Correna, Sean, Gareth, Aimee, Jarrod, Damon and Aidan. A mentor and friend to many throughout his life, and 43 years with NAC/Air New Zealand Engineering.
