On June 6, 2026, peacefully at Darfield Hospital; aged 84 years. Dearly loved husband of Ana, much loved father of Paul and loved grandad of Angela. Special thanks to all the nurses at Darfield Hospital and the Malvern District Nursing Services for their care of David.

Messages to the Gooch family, co/ PO Box 111-01, Christchurch 8443. A Requiem Mass will be Celebrated in Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church, 106 Main South Road, Sockburn, on Wednesday, June 17, at 11.00am. Private interment thereafter. Recitation of Rosary will be held in the Church, on Tuesday, June 16, at 7.00pm.
