David leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. David’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew David will carry forward his memory in their hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Margaret. He is survived by: his extended family, Helen, Richard, Belinda Smith, Samantha, Ben Johnson, Ron Sickling and Arthur Sickling. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Christchurch Transitional Cathedral (234 Hereford Street, Christchurch Central City, Christchurch 8011, New Zealand).
