Peacefully on Monday, August 24, 2026, with his loving family by his side, in his 82nd year. Cherished and much-loved husband of Heather for 60 years. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Michelle and Wayne, a much-loved Gra Gra of Liana and Mert, Madison, and Tarin and Holly, and Great-Gra-Gra of Cathail, and Saoirse. Special thank you to the staff at Nurse Maude Palliative care team, for their love, care and attention to Alan and his family. A Celebration of Alan's life will be held in the Academy Funeral Services Chapel, 65 Main South Road, Upper Riccarton, Tomorrow (Thursday), August 27, at 1.30pm, followed by a private cremation.
