THOMPSON, Ray Douglas. Peacefully to be with Jesus on 23 August 2026, aged 96. Dearly loved husband of the late Ruth. Loved father and father-in-law of Robyn and Bart, Julie and Stephen and Murray and Catherine. Cherished Grandad of Jordan, Rebecca, Loryn, Angela; James, Michael, Daryl; Laura, Nathan, Charlotte, Ben and spouses. Great-Grandad of 7.

A service to celebrate Ray's life will be held at Central Baptist Church on Friday 04 September at 1.00pm.

Communications to be the Thompson Family, C/- 41 Emily Place, Tauranga. Thanks to friends of Ray, hospital staff and Bethlehem Views for their wonderful care over recent months.
