KAPUA, Laurel Constance. (nee Black) Passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 16th, aged 97 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Basil (Cappy). Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Prue and Louisa, Geoff and Nik and Michele and Craig. Treasured grandma of Alice, Emily, Georgia, Myles and Tom and much-loved Gogo of Hunter, June, Hope, William, Arthur and Alastair.

A celebration of Laurel's life will be held at St Peter's Church, 15 Victoria Road, Mt Maunganui at 11 am on Saturday 22 August 2026. Livestream available at www.hopefunerals.co.nz.
