SHERBORNE, John. Passed away peacefully on 21 June 2026, aged 95. Dearly loved husband of Shirley, much-loved father of Timothy, Lucinda, Simon and Justin, and father-in-law of Philippa, Richard, Sonia and Marlane. Proud grandad to Denzel and Alex, Joshua, Oscar, Freddy, Stella, Otis, Jessica, Lucy and Meg, and great-granddaughter, beautiful Moana. John's warmth, humour and positive outlook touched everyone who knew him. He took each day as it came, found contentment in the simple things, and always enjoyed a good glass of red wine, The Chase, a Warriors game, and backing the Blues when there was reason for optimism. He leaves behind many happy, funny memories and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
