McDONALD, Grant. 13 April 1952 - 28 August 2026. Grant passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday night. Grant, husband to Jane, son of the late Donald and Beryl, brother to Robyn and Glenne, father to Erin, Greg and Sally, father-in-law to Tim, Carmen and Nick, grandfather to Henry, Angus, Sophia, Betty, Frida, Ted, Peta and Elle, and 'Dad' to dogs Nugget and Lucy. He will be especially remembered for his sharp humour, love of the sea, boating and fishing.

A celebration of Grant's life will be at All Souls Chapel, Purewa Crematorium, St Johns Road, Meadowbank, Auckland on Thursday 3 September at 1pm.
