McNEIL, Robert Stuart (Bob/Rob /Dadio). On Tuesday, 8 September 2026, peacefully and comfortably at Golden Pond Private Hospital aged 97 years. Much loved husband of the late Gaynor. Beloved father of Claire and Careen. Cherished poppa of Hayley, Shanan, Wade and Cassidy. Adored great grandfather of Tate, Jake, Eryn, Ella, Nate, Tyler, Chelsea, Julien, Addie, Kolson, and Bowie. A much loved, cherished and respected man by everyone who knew him. This is a sad loss for everybody. He had a full and active life in every aspect, with many achievements, adventures and pursuits. He will be deeply missed by all.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held in the chapel of Willetts Funeral Services, 21 King Street, Whakatane, on Thursday, 17 September at 11am, followed by a private cremation.
