Professor Graham MORTIMER

MORTIMER, Emeritus Professor John Graham. Passed away peacefully on 9 August 2026 aged 93 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Clare (nee McCone). Much loved father and father-in-law of Debbie and Chris Waalkens, Nicki Mortimer and partner Julia Mitchell, Sally and Mark Simmonds, and Andrew and Penny Mortimer. Devoted granddad to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A distinguished paediatrician, former Dean of the Dunedin School of Medicine, and dedicated teacher who touched many lives. He will be deeply missed by his family, colleagues, and the medical community.

A service to celebrate Graham's life will be held at the All Saints Chapel, Purewa Crematorium, St Johns, Auckland on Wednesday 19 August at 2pm.
