MCKENDRICK, Dr Lilian Mary. On 12 June, peacefully, aged 96, at Grace Joel Retirement Village. Beloved wife of the late Dr Thomas (Mac) McKendrick. Loved mother of Gordon, Helen, and son-in-law John. Much loved grandmother of Hamish and his wife Nikki, and of her great-grandchildren Alexia and Noah. Dearly loved sister of Helen McKie and the late Bill Tait. Special thanks to Simran and the staff at Grace Joel Rest Home for the kindness and respect they consistently showed to Mary (Mum). Sleep now after your full and well-lived life... and goodbye to a dedicated and caring GP who made house calls whenever needed, or just checked in on the way home, or answered worried patients' calls at 2:00am.
