THOMPSON, Joseph Patrick. Passed away peacefully aged 96 on 21 September 2026. Dearly beloved husband of Josephine and Milika; loved father of Elaine, Stephen (Epeli) and Michael; grandfather of Jacob, Jaunnie, Frelimo, Jessica, Lilliani, Anolo, Valu and Foliake. He will be deeply missed by us all.

A Mass for Joe will be held at St Josephs, Takapuna at 9.25am on Friday 2 October, and later his funeral service will be held at Romaleigh Chapel, 31 Ocean View Road, Northcote at 11.00am. He will be laid to rest at Waikumete Cemetery with Josephine. May his soul be at the right hand of God.
