TURNWALD, John Anton. Passed away peacefully at home on 20 May 2026, aged 87. Dearly loved husband of the late Bev, treasured father and father-in-law of Mark and Lisa, Brett and Darinee and Cate and Bob. Much adored Grandad of Sam, Lucy, Sophie, Finley, Fyfe, Cerwyn, Anton, Theo, Mahe, Liam, Flynn and Lara.

A memorial service will be held at the Parish of St Johns, Arawata Street, Te Awamutu on Saturday 4th July at 1.30 pm 'John has taken his final ride in the red ute after a lifetime of hard work, generosity, friendship and family' In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society's Lions Lodge, Hamilton would be appreciated.
