MATTHEWS, Pauline Cecily (nee Glover). Peacefully on 2nd August 2026 at Taupo Hospital, surrounded by family. Beloved wife of the late Ralph Matthews (11th Bishop of Waiapu) and the late Colin Baker. Dearly loved mother of Christopher and Stephen, grandmother of Amy, Ralph, Sam and Te Awanui, their spouses, Ruth, Kiri, Scott, Claire and Hayleigh, and great-grandmother of James and Madeline, Zippora and Cove, Joshua and Timothy. A "Time of Remembrance" for Pauline is being held during the 10am Sunday morning service followed by a special morning tea at St Andrews Church, 91 Titiraupenga Street, Taupo on the 23rd August. All are very welcome.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Glaucoma NZ would be greatly appreciated. Moe mai ra e kui, moe mai i roto i te aroha o ta matou Ariki, a Ihu Karaiti.
