SIMPSON, Mark Stuart. 29 October 1969 - 10 September 2026. Suddenly at home at Maromaku. A much loved and loving younger son of Rhonda and the late Clive Simpson. Loved brother - brother-in-law and workmate of Colin and Rosalind. Uncle of Kim and Andrew, James and Kylie, Evan and Ella, and Guy. Great uncle of Braxton, Ashton, Isla, Olivia. Thanks for the great memories, Mark. A funeral service to celebrate Mark's life will be at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints chapel, Marlow Road Maromaku. GUBB, Selwyn Oscar. Passed away peacefully on the 2nd September 2026. Aged 98 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Heather. Cherished father and father-in-law of Carolyn, David and Kathryn, Matthew (deceased), and Orest. Much loved grandfather of Charlotte, William, Hannah, and Harvey. Treasured great grandfather of Georges and Oscar. Selwyn will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. Grateful thanks to the staff of Kerikeri Retirement Village for the care of Selwyn and Heather Gubb. A service to celebrate Selwyn's life will be held at St. John The Baptist Anglican Church, Waimate North, 344 Te Ahu Ahu Road, Waimate North on Tuesday 15th September 2026 at 11am followed by burial in the church cemetery. SWABY, Ronald Denis. In Loving Memory of Our Dear Ronald Denis Swaby. It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the sad news of the passing of our dear brother, brother-in- law, Uncle, and special friend Ron Swaby on Tuesday 25th August 2026 aged 84 yrs Loved son of Les and Adele, loved brother to Jeff, Brian, Russ, Jenny and Helen, brother-in-law to Melinda, Vicky and Rob and Uncle to all his nieces and nephews (all in Australia), a very special friend to Terry and Debbie and many more of his valued friends and workmates in New Zealand. Words can never truly express the sadness we feel at having to say goodbye to someone who meant so much to so many. Ron was a very special person ??" someone whose friendship was treasured and whose presence brought warmth and laughter for those fortunate enough to know him. We will remember Ron for the wonderful memories we shared, the laughter, the conversations, and the good times. Ron will never be truly gone. He will remain in the stories we tell, the memories that make us smile through our tears, and in the little moments that unexpectedly remind us of him. Although our hearts are broken by his passing, we will carry his memory with us always. Rest peacefully Ron, you were loved more than you could ever have known, you will be missed more than words can say, and you will never, ever be forgotten.
