Passed away on Friday, September 4, 2026, Christchurch, aged 87 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Walt. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Rose and Russell Rudd (North Canterbury), Andrea Wadsworth and Allan O'Loughlin (North Canterbury), Pip Wadsworth (Blenheim), Chrissy Wadsworth-Smith and Darren Smith (Auckland). Adored grandmother of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a wonderful eldest sister and sister-in-law to Reon Stratford, Sandra Stratford, Aileen and Norm Kopke, Pam and Stu Huddleston and Gary and Marilyn Stratford. Passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Hospice Marlborough, in her 90th year. Loved wife of the late Rex, mother and mother-in-law of Lynne and Chris Roberts, Janet Guard and Konrad Cross, Kathy Guard and Lachlan Dick. Grandmother of Melissa and Lana; Lawrence and Olivia; Ellen and Tamara. Great-grandmother of Caden and Lexie; Macie and Jakob; and Mila. Special thanks to Hospice Marlborough staff for their wonderful care during the short time Eileen was there. Passed away peacefully at Arvida Ashwood Park, Blenheim, on Friday 21st August 2026, aged 89 years. Loved husband of Hazel. Loved Dad of Stephen, Jude, and Craig, and treasured father-in-law of Pam, and Duncan. Cherished 'Pa' of Matthew, Todd, and Caitlin and cherished great-grand 'Pa' of Alex, Zach, Oscar, Harper, and Elsie.
