WILSON, James William "Jim" . It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James William Wilson, known as Jim, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, 27 September, with his loving family by his side. Jim was a much-loved husband, father, grandfather and great- grandfather. Jim and his beloved wife, Bev, shared 62 wonderful years of marriage together, creating a lifetime of love, memories and special moments. He leaves behind his two beautiful children, Jan Marie and Richard and his wife, Kim. His adored grandchildren, Shayna and Georgia, Sam and his wife, Michelle, and Shontelle and her husband, Rhys. Jim was also a proud great-grandfather to his two beautiful great-granddaughters, Avery and Eloise, with another precious great-grandchild on the way. Jim will be deeply loved and dearly missed by all his family. His memory will live on in the many wonderful memories, stories and special moments shared together over the years. A heartfelt thank you to Mary Doyle, Ashcroft House and Reeve House for the loving care, kindness and attention they gave Jim. We will always be incredibly grateful for the compassion, support and care you showed him and our family. Due to Jim's wishes a private service has been held. Rest peacefully, Jim.

Beverley MCCONNELL

McCONNELL, Beverley May. Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, 30 September, surrounded by family, aged 95. She not only experienced life, but truly lived it. It was a privilege to have been loved by her. Beloved wife of the late Malcolm McConnell, mother to Nancy, Jacqueline, John, Kate and David, 'Granny Bev' to all her grandchildren and great- grandchildren, and friend to so many. She was incredibly grateful for the wonderful Ayrlies team who worked alongside her in the garden and at home, and the St Thomas' church community. She lived with an open heart, embraced each moment, and brought light to those around her. We thank God for the blessing of her life, the love she shared, the creation of Ayrlies Garden, and the beautiful memories she leaves behind. May she rest in Aroha, reunited with her darling man. A celebration of Bev's life will be held at All Saints Church; 17 Selwyn Road, Howick on Wednesday the 7th of October at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations to Friends of the Botanic Gardens or the Anglican Trust for women and children foundation are appreciated. The service will be livestreamed www.sibuns.co. nz

DEVER, Hilda Noelene. 18-2-1934 - 28-9-2026 Passed away peacefully at Hawkes Bay Regional Hospital, Hastings after a short illness. A special thanks to Mel and Daphne and the lovely Hospital staff. Beloved mother of Bill and Teresa, Craig and Anne, Roger and Sue. Aunty to Les and Sonya and Toots. Mum touched many people's lives and organisations she served in and enjoyed many friendships. May she rest in peace. A Private family service has been held as per her wishes.
