Bob passed away suddenly in Whangarei on Saturday, 26 September 2026, aged 70. A very much loved father and father-in-law of Allie and Kyle, and stepfather of Luke and Anna. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Frank and Vicki, Alison and Grant. Grandad to Quincy. Beloved uncle to Andrew and Amy, Andrew and Matthew. Bob worked for many years overseas, he traveled far and wide. Along the way he had many adventures, always taking the roads less travelled (usually by bike!). He had a passion for adventures, sailing and in recent years playing music. Bob will be sadly missed by his family, friends and colleagues. Two Farewell Memorials are planned for Bob: one locally in Whangarei and one in Palmerston North later this year. Details for these will be confirmed. James WILSON

WILSON, James William "Jim" . It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James William Wilson, known as Jim, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, 27 September, with his loving family by his side. Jim was a much-loved husband, father, grandfather and great- grandfather. Jim and his beloved wife, Bev, shared 62 wonderful years of marriage together, creating a lifetime of love, memories and special moments. He leaves behind his two beautiful children, Jan Marie and Richard and his wife, Kim. His adored grandchildren, Shayna and Georgia, Sam and his wife, Michelle, and Shontelle and her husband, Rhys. Jim was also a proud great-grandfather to his two beautiful great-granddaughters, Avery and Eloise, with another precious great-grandchild on the way. Jim will be deeply loved and dearly missed by all his family. His memory will live on in the many wonderful memories, stories and special moments shared together over the years. A heartfelt thank you to Mary Doyle, Ashcroft House and Reeve House for the loving care, kindness and attention they gave Jim. We will always be incredibly grateful for the compassion, support and care you showed him and our family. Due to Jim's wishes a private service has been held. Rest peacefully, Jim.

On September 28, 2026, peacefully with family by her side at Christchurch Hospital; aged 58 years. Dearly loved wife of Dean, a loving mother of Hamish, and a loved daughter of Margaret and Jim Pugh. The family would like to acknowledge and thank everyone including the Christchurch Hospital staff who looked after Jane through her illness.
