Died peacefully at Nelson Hospital on June 13, 2026, after an extended health battle. Loved wife of the late Denis Sutherland.

Cherished mother of Lyndon and Kathryn, Karen and Peter Muir, the late Greg, and Julie, Myke and Warren. Adored grandma to her 9 grandchildren and treasured GG to 12 great-grandchildren. A private cremation will be followed by a celebration of Jeanette's life on Monday, June 22, at 10.00am at Hope Community Church, 114 Ranzau Rd, Tasman. Messages to the family c/- SD Funerals, 5 Talbot St, Richmond, Tasman 7020. In lieu of flowers, donations to St Johns would be appreciated.
