Dorothy HART

Passed away at The Wales Home, Richmond Quebec, Canada, July 30, 2026. Dorothy (Dot) died peacefully, surrounded by love and family, in her 82nd year, after a two-decade battle with Parkinson's. Dearly loved wife of devoted Milton Haynes. Dearly loved mom and mother-in-law of Paul and Hilary, Brett and Myriam. Loved grandma to Alex, Renee, James, Thomas and Lewis. Daughter of the late Connie and Steve Hart, and dearly loved sister and sister-in-law of Pamela (Pam) and Eldred, also sister of the late Margaret, Bev, Kath, Rosalie, and Lyell (Pip). Missed by her large extended families in New Zealand and Canada. A special thank you to all the staff at the Wales Home, and especially the thoughtful staff of Norton One for the excellent care, compassion and support they provided to Jennifer and Milton during her almost five year stay in long term care.
