Died peacefully in Nelson on August 28, 2026, aged 88 years. Loved companion of the late Jim Rowling. Cherished mother of Liz, Peter, Michelle and Stuart. Beloved Nana of Benjamin, Michael (deceased), Kelly, Claire, Megan, Imogen, Matthew, Alex, Timothy and Jordan. Cherished great-grandmother of Caleb and Clark.

A private cremation has been held.

A celebration of Betty's life will be held at Waimea Richmond Funeral Home, 24 Champion Road, Richmond on Tuesday, October 6 2026, commencing at 1.00pm.
