Passed away peacefully at Nelson Hospital on Monday, August 31, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, aged 79 years. Dearly loved wife of David for 55 years. Cherished mum of Rachel and Dean, Andrew and Alana, Tony and Nikkii. Adored grandmother to Gian, William, Samuel, Patrick, and Jesse. Treasured sister of Pam, Jim, and the late Jan and Tom.

A private cremation has been held.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Claire's life will be held at the Wakefield Bowling Club, 61 Whitby Road, Wakefield, on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 1.00pm.
