MARSHALL, Warren Graham. It's with profound sadness that the family and friends of Warren Graham Marshall, aged 66, formally announce his unexpected passing on Thursday, June 18th, in Gisborne. A dad to Tony, Chrissy, George, Teri and Krissy. A grandad to Ryder, Braxton, Tully, Madilene, Alaura, Rosie, and Akaia. A son to the late Graham and Selina. A brother to Colin, Ian, Bruce, Heather, and Keith. A loved and cherished friend and musician to many. He's at rest with us now. Service Details: The Guitar Man will have his last gig with us all at Smash Palace on Friday, the 26th of June. Doors open at 12.00pm and Warren will arrive at 12.30pm. Live music, speeches, drinks and food will be part of the celebration. He will depart to be buried at 3.00pm with invited attendees. An after-service will be held upstairs at Midway Surf Club from 4.00pm until late. Some food and drinks will be provided, but you can also BYO. He's jumping on his motorbike for his final ride, guitar over his shoulder, to his forever resting place.
