SMITH, James. Peacefully at the Kiri Te Kanawa retirment village in Gisborne, James "Jim" Angus Smith passed away at the age of 85 on the 19th of September 2026. Born and raised in Scotland, Gisborne has been home for many wonderful years. Beloved husband of Judy and much loved Dad of Eileen and Graham. Father in law to David and Jen and proud Grandfather to Sarah, Samuel and Skye. A very dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle and a friend to many.

Rest in peace Grandpa Jim, you will be much missed.

The funeral Service will be held at Evans Funeral Service, Ormond Road at 11am on Thursday the 24th September followed by a private cremation.
