On July 15, 2026, at Melbourne. Loved youngest daughter of the late Ingram and Beatrice Dickson of Christchurch. Dearly loved wife of Michael Somers, mother of Andrew, Matthew and Benjamin, and loved mother-in-law of Linda, Rachel and Anne-Maree. Loved grandmother of Jarod, Celine, Declan, Conor, Regan, Nicholas and Samuel. Loved great-grandmother of Charlie. Sadly missed by family and many friends in many countries. Requiem Mass for Valda will be held at St Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, Blackburn South, on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at 11.00am.
