Passed away peacefully on June 8, 2026, at Bethesda Care Home, Christchurch, aged 97. Dearly loved husband of the late Dorothy, loving father and father-in-law of Trevor, Marie and the late Jim Nelson, Russell and Brenda, loved grandfather of Luke and Hamish, and loved brother of the late Hugh and Ian. The family wishes to thank the wonderful healthcare staff who looked after Ron over the last year.

A private cremation has been held.
