On August 6, 2026, Rona passed away in her home which she loved, in her 99th year. Cherished wife of the late Lex, dearly loved mother of Ann, Joy, and Kate, and loved mother-in-law of Mike, and Graham. Much loved Granny of Becky, Char, Penny and husband Jimmy, and Jono and wife Sarah, loved "Watergran" of Will, Fergus, Bridie, Hank, Greta, and Alba, and great-grandmother of Couper. The service to celebrate Rona's life will be held at Wai-mana, 92 Kippenberger Avenue, Rangiora, on Saturday, August 15, at 10.30am, private cremation to follow.
